CLASSICAL
ELEGANCE DEFINES
ARCHITECTURALLY SIGNIFICANT HOME
By Chris Faircloth
Photos by Darrell Coble
From the well appointed foyer punctuated by a beautiful
half-round elliptical stairway to the luxurious living room
furnished in period antiques, the home of Marshall Qualls
and Scott Keener personifies elegance. A stroll through the
rooms furnished with antiques and original art harkens back
to a different, more gracious era when people left calling
cards and did not dream of going out in public in anything
other than their best outfit, including a hat. Though the
strict and some would say stuffy social rules, etiquette
and fashion are long forgotten but this gracious stone
house in West Burlington stands as a reminder of splendid
days gone by.
